Virgin Voyages doesn't sell drink packages at all — you pay per drink, sweetened by Bar Tab bonuses. Use the calculator to estimate what your drinking habits will actually cost on a Virgin sailing, and how much Bar Tab to pre-load.
Typical cruises range from 3 to 14 nights

Virgin Voyages doesn't sell traditional drink packages — see the notes below for how drinks are priced instead.
Prices are typical standalone pre-gratuity rates and change by sailing and promotion — the calculator lets you adjust any price to match your quote.
Virgin's pitch is that packages are a mind game — instead, a long list of drinks is simply included in your fare: still and sparkling water, sodas, drip coffee, teas, and non-pressed juices. You only pay for alcohol, specialty coffee, pressed juices, and premium bottled options, with cocktails typically $11-$17 and gratuities already included in every price (no 18-20% add-on at checkout).
The Bar Tab is prepaid drink credit with a bonus: at the time of writing, buying a $300 tab gets you $50 in bonus credit, scaling up to $250 bonus on a $1,000 tab. Bar Tab purchases are shared across your cabin, never expire during the voyage, and unused paid (not bonus) amounts are refundable — so pre-loading roughly what the calculator estimates is low-risk.
Because every drink is à la carte, the calculator math is simpler here: multiply your daily habits by your cruise length. For most moderate drinkers, a Virgin bar bill lands well below the cost of two traditional drink packages — one reason couples where only one person drinks find Virgin's model refreshing.
